I’m so happy I got to spend the day celebrating and taking photographs with two of my favorite people!
Kris is one of the most honest, loyal, and thoroughly decent human beings I’ve ever come across, and has quickly become one of my best friends over the last couple years. His unfailing generosity and inexhaustible work-ethic are things I aspire to, and his enthusiasm for learning and growing as a creative has motivated me more times than I can count. He looks a lot cooler than I do, but he’s also got a soft, vulnerable underbelly of tragic nerdery and awkwardness that makes his fellow geeks feel a little less weird and alone in the world.
Kristina, who I don’t get to see as often as Kris, is a little more elusive, but no less wonderful. The more I’ve gotten to know her, the more I like her, and the more grateful I am that my friend has someone so special in his life.
As is the duty of every incurable doofus when faced with a gorgeous woman, I was intimidated by her at first. And boy, was that stupid. She’s kind, and sweet; compassionate, smart, and like me, much more introverted and sensitive than people might guess. She’s also freakin’ funny, and doesn’t seem to mind my potty mouth, so naturally, I love her.
They’re also the two best-looking people I know in real life… which I find horribly irritating, given that they’re both so nice, and good at so many things. … Seriously. Give the rest of us a chance. Jerks.
They’re both humble and reserved, and will probably cringe at a big, public, mushy post like this, but they can deal with it.
I’m so happy you two found each other!
It fills my heart with joy to know that both of you will be so well-loved and taken care of.
